AMI Kids is a set of videogames, board games and comic strips designed to encourage children to approach the art world … without running the risk of them being bored!
The AMI Project has developed a series of applications that can meet the needs of the “child” user profile, responding to the principle of edutainment, that is, learning while having fun.
All the images of the games created reproduce paintings, sculptures, archaeological finds and details of the AMI demonstrators in cartoon form, thus, allowing young players to increase their knowledge of the art world … having fun!

COLORAMI
A digital version of a colouring book. Children will be able to colour in six cartoon drawings related to AMI demonstrators, using a mouse or the touch function on mobile applications, by selecting the colour, brush size and eraser. All the drawings can be downloaded and printed directly from the game both in a black and white version, to be able to then colour them with their crayons, and also once they have coloured them in so that they can keep their work. You are advised to set the printer on “horizontal layout” for printing paying attention to scale, or to download the printable version directly from HERE

By clicking on this ICON from the game menu you can view the originals of the paintings, sculptures, archaeological finds and details from which the game’s illustrations have been obtained with the relative information.

RICORDAMI
A game in which the player sees a series of covered back cards that he/she can turn over in pairs.
The aim of the game is to turn over two identical cards and find all the pairs in the deck within a pre-established time limit. The different levels will be of increasing difficulty as the number of cards and the amount of pairs to be found increase. Once all the levels have been completed, the player will be shown the originals of the paintings, the sculptures, the archaeological finds and the details from which the cards of the game have been obtained with relative information. You can download the paper version of the game directly from HERE

By clicking on this ICON from the game menu you can view all the cards grouped by demonstrator.

By dragging the cursor with a mouse or using the touch function for the mobile version, you can move the different pieces inside the screen and, by clicking or tapping on the screen, you can rotate them giving you (the player) the sensation of solving a real puzzle. The different puzzle formats (16, 32, 64 and 100 pieces) make the game suitable for older audiences too.

By clicking on this ICON from the game menu you can view the originals of the paintings, sculptures, archaeological finds and details from which the game’s cards have been obtained with the relative information.

MEMORIZZAMI

Players will see a screen with four elements present within the different AMI demonstrators.

The elements will light up in turn composing a sequence that the child will have to repeat.

The difficulty will be increasing, starting from simple sequences, with a single illuminated element, to which a further element will be added each time.

The game will be interrupted after three mistakes, showing the originals of the sculptures, the archaeological finds and the details from which the game’s cards have been obtained with the relative information on the screen.

Board Games

The idea of the board game, inspired by the logic of the traditional Goose Game, arises from the desire to further enrich the museum experience, offering an instrument able to combine education and entertainment in order to encourage the involvement of new generations.

In particular, the two board games, “Fila … al Museo” and “Arte in Circolo“, created to encourage children visiting the museum to further acquire knowledge while visiting the two demonstrators being piloted, the “Gaetano Filangieri Civic Museum” and the” Fondazione Circolo Artistico Politecnico “, take full advantage of the potential of new technologies.

The player, in fact, can view in augmented reality, with the MediAR App downloaded from App Store and the Google Play Store, some of the works in the two demonstrators used as a reference for piloting, framing a visual tag present on the playing cards with their device (Smartphone / Tablet).
